Formal Event Sitters is a unique service that provides on-site care throughout the Tampa Bay area for children during events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, and receptions. Each event sitter comes directly to your special event, prepared to care for and entertain your young guests for hours! We provide all materials and activities. All you need to provide is the location and the children! Because we are an on-site service, parents never need to worry- they are free to check in on their children at any time. There are two options when using Formal Event Sitters: you may have a children's table at the reception or if you prefer, we can entertain and care for the children in a separate room on the premises.  Faith and her team are truly a blessing! I was skeptical my first time using the company, since the pricing was too good to be true. Faith was great to communicate with on the phone, prompt at returning phone calls and also at sending paperwork.The day of the wedding, they arrived when scheduled and lived up to everything that was promised and more! I watched her staff rock babies to sleep in their arms, feed other children their meals and do arts and crafts with other children. All of this being done with smiles on their faces and the best part is yet to come.... They even clean up all of their areas on their own, with no complaints or assistance. Formal Event Sitters is a unique service that provides on-site care for children at special events. With Formal Event Sitters at your wedding, all your guests can relax and enjoy the celebration, knowing their children are having fun just a few steps away!

What sort of training and/or requirements do the sitters have?
All our sitters are over the age of 21 and have backgrounds in education. All sitters are CPR/First Aid Certified and have had
complete background checks.

What activities do you do with the children?
We provide all sorts of craft activities, group games & contests, toys, and other items for the children. Our activities are designed for children ages 3 and older. For children under the age of 3, special arrangements can be made. Please call for details!

How do I hire Formal Event Sitters for my wedding?
Reserving an event sitter for your wedding is easy! Just call (727) 433-3790. An information packet will be sent out to you along with a reservation form. Once we receive your completed form and $50 deposit, your special date will be added to our calendar!
