About Us

For many years, photography has been my passion. With a background in photojournalism and fine art photography, I enjoy few things more than documenting a wedding as it unfolds in front of me.

To each wedding, I bring an artist’s eye and a sense of humor, sensitivity to those around me and above all, a profound respect for the people I work with and my role at this time in their lives. My style of shooting includes soft, grainy shots for a romantic look and cross-processed color for its saturated edgy quality. I also am very experienced in digital art and enjoy making artistic, digital "paintings" from one or more of your wedding photos. Because my style is mostly documentary, I like to make the portrait time as short, relaxed and fun as possible while spending the rest of the time, "in the shadows", capturing the real life moments that display the natural energy and style of the new couple. I approach each job as a fine art piece, paying attention to the small details, the expression on people’s faces, the way the light falls on the subject, and the overall mood and emotion of the day. I strive to tell the complete story of the most important day of your life.Despite the high demand for my services, I have no intention of turning into a high-production, multiple-photographer studio. I book no more than two weddings per month, no exceptions. This allows me to focus on you and your special day. It also allows me time to edit and get your photos to you in a reasonable amount of time. I would love to meet you and discuss your wedding with you at your convenience.
