Elise Donoghue was the first wedding vendor my fiance and I booked and we could not have been more pleased with our photos, or the experience of working with Elise. First and foremost, Elise is an artist--her photographs are beyond gorgeous and I have no idea how we're going to go about narrowing down our favorites to complete our album. However, Elise is also a consumate professional and looking back I would not have traded the experience of working with her for anything.

The day of the wedding, Elise put our entire wedding party at ease and their comfort in her presence shined through in the photographs. My mother-in-law was blown away that Elise knew everyone's names in advance and her experience working with children came in handy when 3-year-old ring bearer started to get tired. Elise navigated some difficult family politics with ease and grace and her presence allowed me to stay calm and focused on enjoying the day.

Having attended numerous weddings in the past, one of my concerns was selecting a photographer who would not choreograph our entire day. I wanted someone who would capture all of the important moments, without staging the experience, and that was exactly what Elise and her assistant did. Elise blended in so seemlessly that I honestly lost track of her at times during the ceremony and reception, but the thousands of beautiful images we received attest that she was there capturing each and every moment.

I knew Elise's work would be wonderful, but I was completely awed by the engagement album she delivered. My fiance and I made a last minute decision to create a guest book from the photos and figured that with our tight timeline we would need to do the work, but Elise offered to make it for us. She took the idea and ran with it and the final product was so much better than what I had envisioned creating. Our guests loved it and we have had so much fun flipping through it and reading everyones messages.

In conclusion, Elise exceeded our expectations on numerous occassions and our guests LOVED her--I wholeheartedly recommend her work and hope I have the opportunity to work with her again some day.

Planning a wedding - no matter how big or small or how soon you start or organized you are - can be a challenge at best. We were lucky as most of our vendors made the day so special for us and Elise is at the top of our list for an exceptional job! She was so comfortable to be around and most of the time I didn't even know she was there. She worked hard from makeup through after most of our guests left. I remember saying to her at the end of the evening when she was still trying to get every shot 'where are you getting the energy?" And the end result of her and her assistant's, Jennifer, hard work were gorgeous photos that captured every special moment and some moments I would have missed if she hadn't captured them. The creativity in every shot was awesome - she is truly an artist not just a photographer. Thank you Elise!!

Elise was just the best!!! Our pictures speak for themselves...they are beautiful...works of art. She captured every detail and so many of the magical moments. From putting the make-up on to the very last dance, Elise captured the magic of the day. Photography was our #1 priority (you eat the cake, the flowers wilt, but the photos are forever!) and our photos tell the beautiful story of our day. Her bubbly personality made it a complete joy for me to work with her before and after while we compiled our album. We hope she knows how much her amazing photos mean to us!

It’s been over 3 years since our wedding on the Cape and every time I look at the album it makes it feel like it was yesterday. Elise is highly organized, professional, laid back, fun and more importantly didn’t miss a thing the day of our wedding. The album captures it all and we get more compliments on the quality of the album itself- every shot is perfect. I always thought I would regret not having a videographer but the pictures alone capture every moment!

Elise shot our wedding four years ago and we were thrilled with her work. She started the day with me as I got ready, then took photos in the Public Garden and shot the service and the reception. She brought two assistants and all were professional, fun to work with, and caught great shots. It was nice having more than one photographer, esp. at the Public Garden, since one took great formal shots while the others were catching candid moments. Elise listened to what we wanted and really captured the day. Elise does beautiful work - you cannot go wrong.

We couldn't have been happier with Elise. She is enthusiastic and flexible to work with. We got great engagement and wedding photos that we will treasure for years to come!!

She came with us to our venue prior to the event to plan where our photographs would be taken - she was flexible and inspiring - and the results speak for themselves.
