Describe your DJ style:
Low-key/Conservative, Moderate, or High Profile. It depends on the needs of the client. Most of my clients request Low-key/Conservative.
What is your usual attire?
Full tux for all weddings and private events. Clients must notify me in writing if they want me to wear something other than a tux.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
It depends - chances are I have it in my library of over 50,000 titles. If it's an obscure title, there's a good chance the client has it and can bring it along.
How many other DJs do you work with?
I work alone.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
There is a 4 hour minimum on all events.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes - I offer preliminary consults so brides can meet me prior to signing a contract.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Yes - Over the years, I have done a variety of ethnic weddings.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes - I bring all my own equipment.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
I have a wireless mic for blessings, toasts, and speeches and I have a remote (2nd) set-up for ceremonies and/or cocktail periods held in a different room. This is all included in your package.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
I arrive about 60 minutes prior to the contracted start time in order to set-up. I require a skirted table and chair near an outlet.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Not really - just that the table is 6 to 8 foot long.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I emcee and make all necessary announcements.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Meals are NOT required, but they are appreciated.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
If necessary, but I still prefer to be at my dj station if the client requests a break.

Yes - I'm a member of BADJA and network with other DJs.
