You never know what color will best compliment your skin or show off for your body to its best advantage. Most importantly don’t try on a dress that is out of your price range, this will only lead to disappointment.

The Venue. If you can’t find your dream location locally, don’t be afraid to expand your search. Worried that friends and family won’t be happy about a long drive? Rent a limo bus that picks guests up at a central location and transports them to and from the ceremony and or hotel. This way everyone can have a great time and not have to worry about traveling.

Little Shop of Horrors. If you’re horrified by the cost of beautifying you’re wedding with flowers, not to worry. Simple and elegant floral arrangements mixed with other mediums such as branches and fruit are getting Brides excited these days. As for bouquets, be creative. Have your maids carry something unique like a parasol or something simple and elegant like a single Calla Lily.

Floral Alternatives. One way to make a decorative impact for your event is by adding beautiful overlays to your tables. Tons of candles scattered atop a beautiful satin overlay with a single bud tucked here and there can add drama & color.

To Buy or Not To Buy. Of course you can find tons of beautiful accessories and décor to purchase for your wedding but it can be very costly. It’s also extremely time consuming to go hunting for the perfect pieces and finding enough of them. By utilizing an event designer you will have access to amazing props and décor that you can rent for a fraction of the retail cost.

What to Drink. Work with your caterer to come up with a few novelty cocktails. This gives guests some options when they are trying to think of something better then a good ole Gin n’tonic to drink. You can offer feature drinks that tie into your theme, like a hot chocolate cocktail or Sangria!

Be Yourself. It’s your day and it’s all about you! Don’t be pressured by what friends and family think and don’t let vendors talk you in or out of anything. Make decisions based on what makes you happy. This is your day to shine!
