Della Bella Photography has been in business since 1989, which started in San Francisco shooting editorial, photojournalism, and wedding photography. In 1999, Todd moved the business to Connecticut, to use this broad range of photographic experience and concentrate on offering this unique approach to his wedding clients. Is your media preference film or digital?

How many photographers do you work with?
I usually work by myself, but sometimes I will have an assistant or another photographer with me depending on the size of the wedding or the request of the couple.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, I photograph every wedding that is booked.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have several very good photographers that would be able to fill in for me. All of which have been shooting weddings for several years and own their own photography businesses.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
All pictures taken at your wedding will be available on disc about one week after your wedding day.
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
All digital files are given to the couple on a disc about one week after the wedding day.

Do you shoot in color or black and white? Or both? Do you shoot in a digital format that can create both color and b/w versions of the same picture?
    All photos are in color but can be changed to black & white. 12 jpeg files. Digital.

What kind of input can we have on the direction of the shots? Can we give you a shot list to work from?
    Remember I am there for you. You can have as much input as you like. A shot list would be fine.

Can we meet any assistants who will also be our taking pictures?
    If there is an assistant coming with me, you are more than welcome to meet him or her.

How many years have you worked as a wedding photographer?
    15 years

How many pictures on average do you take at a wedding?
    600-1000 pictures

When will my prints and wedding album be available?
     6-8 weeks after the wedding your prints and albums will be ready

Are you part of any professional organizations?
    Yes I am. The APA --Advertising Photographers of America

What do you charge for overtime?    
    I do not charge for overtime. Do not worry; that is not an issue.

Can others take photos while you are taking photos?
    Yes, absolutely.

What do you usually wear to a wedding?
    Black pants with a black dress shirt and black tie
