About me: Danielle has been servicing brides at their wedding location all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 1989. Danielle received her training under the direction of celebrity makeup artists from the television and motion picture industries. Danielle uses quality products from Glo Minerals, Christain Dior, Estee Lauder and more to give you a flawless, picture perfect look that lasts 14 hours or more. Danielle’s only job is that of a professional makeup artist. When not servicing brides, you can find Danielle at department and specialty stores like Nordstrom or Lord & Taylor doing special event makeup artistry for Christian Dior and Estee Lauder. Danielle travels across New England with many Special Events Makeup Artistry Teams doing trend shows, fashion shows and specailty makeup instructional workshops. Danielle has also done makeup for television and cable commercials, print media and charity events. Danielle is available for weddings, television, fashion shows, advertising/print media and private makeup instruction. I always have people asking me if I have any experience with Asian and African-American clients.  The answer is yes. I have a mix of clients that I work with. Alot of my business consists of models. I help them by updating thier portfolios every year or so.  I love doing makeup on deeper skintones.  I have models and private clients with various ethnic backrounds and always enjoy seeing how colors blend out when applied to varying skin tones. Experimenting with different color combinations and styles, I can customize a special look just for you. Every face is different, and everyone will look different, even if they have the same makeup on.

Although I am a makeup artist, I do have another talent......I am a vocal soloist. I perform at weddings and yes, sometimes funerals. I have been singing professionaly as a hobby for more than 15 years. I truly enjoy it. I am a soloist so I do not come with a band or sing with a band at a wedding reception. The best way to keep your skin looking it's best is to remember the 2 step rule:
When using makeup, you need 2 cleansers to clean your skin.
Start with a lotion or cream cleanser, like a coldcream, to remove all traces of your makeup.
Once makeup has been removed, clean the skin with a foaming or lathering cleanser.
A foaming cleanser alone, cannot break down makeup properly. When used alone, it is not able to deep clean the skin. It works great once makeup is removed because it can really clean out the pores, but alone, it doesn't have the properties to break down and sweep makeup off the skin.
A lotion or cream cleanser does a great job of removing and breaking down the topical face makeup, but does not have the ability to deep clean the pores like a foaming or lathering cleanser. You need to use 2 products to get the job done right. 

A true professional makeup artist should be using high-end, quality makeup and brushes. The makeup should be applied to last at least 12 hours or more and be of a professional, photo-grade finnish, which means it is best with hi-def or professional photography. If you are spending thousands of dollars on a photographer for your wedding pictures, spend the extra money for a makeup artist that uses professional grade products.
