Custom Creations and Invitations has a unique and different approach to invitations. The owner/designer invites you to meet with her (online if out-of-state or in person) and discuss  your ideas and just what you wish to convey to your guests with your invitation package.  She is adept at quickly discerning what your style and taste is, and is soon busy designing something especially for you. Every invitation is made by hand. We do not use anything that is pre-cut, no die-cuts, and everything is created new specifically for your wedding.The excitement is contagious as ideas, papers, charms, ribbons fly with abandoned enthusiasm as your ideas are put to paper.  The process is lots of fun, whether you’re meeting in person or are in another state. We offer many additional options and personalization, including unique wedding programs, placecards, thank you’s, addressing your envelopes front and back (and a graphic to match, if you choose), favor tags and so much more. 

It is a unique way of showcasing the personalities and individuality of the couple that is seldom offered anywhere else. We work hard to see that your ideas and personality are incorporated into the invitation creation. We have something for every budget, from the simple ($4) to the sublime ($10 and up). If you can dream it, we can create it for you - at a price you can afford. 

 Consultations are free - and lots of fun!  It’s a collaborative effort and you’ll be pleased with the end result.  We recommend you call for an appointment soon  (4 - 5 months before your wedding, if at all possible) so that we will have ample time to individually hand-craft each special invitation for you.  (This advance notice is preferable but not mandatory - we also do rush orders for a small fee).   It is a personal, one-on-one experience that you won’t soon forget...AND...at a price you can afford.  We look forward to meeting you!

Q. How much are response cards and reception cards, and other extras?  A. The reception card and response card are always included with the invitation and pricing.  Maps and other enclosures are always an option for a small additional fee and we do it all...whate3ver extra you may need.

Q. How much are your invitations? A. They begin at $4.00 for our basic invitation (which is still unique), and this includes the reception and response card and envelopes, to over $10 for something sublime!  !It all depends on what you’re looking for, the papers you choose, the extras you want, the number of invitations you need, and what your budget will allow.  We work with any budget requirements and try very hard to give you exactly what you want...at a price you can afford.

Q. How are they paid for?  A. After our initial discussion, you either schedule a return appointment or are sent a jpg of the draft idea we’ve created together.  Papers and other options are discussed, approximate pricing is then calculated, and once you are satisfied and give your approval to begin the process, a 50% deposit is required.  Changes are happily made after that deposit also.  Nothing is final until you make that final decision to sign off on the drafts as the final versions. The balance of the invitation package isn’t due until your invitations are completed. 

Because of the unique nature of our invitations, and because each one is custom designed and made by hand, we need to ask as much lead time as possible.  Many people looking for unique invitations think that because their wedding is "a long way off" they don’t need to think about it yet.  When invitations are custom made, six months away is NOT very far away for those assembling and creating them.  We want to make every invitation as perfect as possible and need to allow enough time to ensure that all our orders are processed in a timely manner.  (Bottom line: Please don’t wait until the last minute! :)
