As an event professional, I am a perfectionist when it comes to the details, especially for my own daughter. We knew when we talked with Jorge and the staff at the Gateway Grand that all would be just perfect...and it was! Hotel staff were available and helpful during our harried set up hours. We had a sit down meal that was excellent, cold dishes were cold, hot dishes were hot, and the flavors were wonderful, and the service superb! Thank you Jorge, and the staff at the Gateway Grand, for taking care of all the details for us! It was wonderful!
I've had the joy of working with Jorge for years. I've always seen him bring a great blend of personal warmth mixed with in-depth professional knowledge, respect for the client's goals mixed with creative suggestions. And all this topped with the ability to help you fit your budget while having the event of your dreams. Jorge and the staff at the Best Western Gateway Grand are a delight to work with, and I'm always glad for the opportunity to play for an event at their hotel!
The Best Western Gateway Grand is a fabulous facility to hold any event and you will be pleased with their service driven staff. I work frequently with Jorge Negron and the banquet staff and, I’m always impressed with their attention to detail and astonishing service. They always go above and beyond for their clients and vendors. I have also personally held events at the Best Western and always very pleased with their service, quality of food (delicious) and the cleanliness of their facility. You can’t go wrong by holding your event at the Best Western. Glynda Fancy That of Gainesville, Inc.

Tips and Advice
Please note that Saturday is the favorite day of the week to conduct social events, therefore at times the demand and the supply makes availability harder during the summer and the holidays.  It is suggested that you secure your reception venue within at least a year of your scheduled wedding date.  In most cases it is recommended to confirm the wedding ceremony site first and then the reception hall once your officiant or pastor oficially clears the ceremony time with you.  Please also note that if your event is scheduled within a year or more from scheduled reception date due to market trends in this industry most caterers can not guarantee the final food and beverage prices until at least 90-120 days before the wedding recpetion date.
