I am so happy that Ara photographed our elopement. I was captivated by her portfolio from the beginning—she had the exact vibe and style we were going for on our big day. From our first chat, she was so personable and helpful with location scouting and logistics. We had an unexpected change in our location and I'm so grateful she was able to accommodate and still shoot for us.

Beyond the quality of her art and photos which speak for themselves, what really impressed me was how organized and helpful she was in coordinating our day. Because we eloped with only close family present, our setup was pretty loose. We hadn't really rehearsed how everything was going to go. There are so many little things you don't think about for your wedding day until you're there in the moment. Once Ara arrived on the scene, she was extremely helpful in coordinating logistics so things went smoothly. Simply put, she knows what she's doing! Ara was our photographer for an intimate elopement ceremony on the Oregon coast. When searching for a photographer, my husband and I found Ara's profile on Instagram. Her ability to capture such stunning angles instantly blew us away. We wanted a photographer experienced with elopement ceremonies in the Pacific Northwest, and her photos depicted just that. When chatting with Ara, she knew exactly what we wanted, which surprised me because I was still figuring it out myself. She even recommended a few spots for our special day, which we ended up selecting for our location. My gut told me to trust her, and we are so glad we did! As two people who are often more introverted than extroverted, we wanted someone with a larger-than-life personality to break us out of our comfort zone and capture our once-in-a-lifetime moment. We've only been to a handful of weddings, only enough to really know what we didn't want to have for our own wedding. Ara was such a blessing in that she understood our big-scene apprehensions instantly, offering logistical support, reassurance, and a plethora of ideas that fit perfectly with who we are.

My wife and I both felt that we were having an old friend taking our pictures rather than someone that tried to push us in directions we weren't interested.
