Rocelyn did an AMAZING job on our photos. I regret forgetting the name of her assistant who worked with my husband and his groomsmen separately on their pre-ceremony pics-but she did an incredible job as well! Rocelyn was always prompt in responses and extremely flexible with my schedule. She pays attention to every little detail and I appreciated her coaching me in posing a certain way so my arm didn't look fat or face not too round lol etc etc. Because she knows those are things we as women will inspect in our pictures :) All the moments of emotion that took place throughout the day were beautifully captured. I highly highly recommend her.

ARA Photography is hands-down THE BEST! I work in the communications industry and it is very rare to find a photographer with such skills as Rocelyn. Not only is she a widely-recognized expert, she also molds future photographers at the college level. She is down-to-earth and very easy to work with... consulting with her also gave me great ideas for my wedding. Although my fiancé lived out-of-state, she accommodated us well and coached me during bridal portraits and snapped superb photos of us/family/friends at our ceremony and reception. The church requested limited movement during the ceremony and this was not a challenge for her- she was very respectful and we received excellent shots from a variety of angles and views. I'm so glad we had these memories captured by Rocelyn which will last a lifetime... and generations to come!

I was lucky enough to have found Ara Photography just in time for my engagement photos. Rocelyn was very professional yet made us feel comfortable enough so we were able to be ourselves in front of a camera. The outcome was the most beautiful pictures I ever could have asked for! I definitely recommend Ara Photography if you're looking for top notch work.

Rocelyn (and her team) were very professional from start to finish. She was always responsive to emails and even would notify in advance is she was going to be out of town with limited availability to respond. She provided excellent recommendations on photo-shoot locations with option to see some of her prior work from the sites. She was very responsive on providing her recommendations for prints and happy to work with me on cropping and editing when I had specific requests. She was also very flexible on time and location working with my spouse and I who were getting married in Houston and at the time he lived in the panhandle but somehow she made it all work and we felt that she was involved and taking care of our needs.

She made a point to get to know us and our desires/personality. She remembered particular pictures we had requested to be taken months prior (similar to my parents who had the reception at the same place) the day of our reception that I did not think to remind her for amongst the business of celebrating that day. I find being photographed to be awkward especially as the focus of attention; Rocelyn made me really feel at ease though even during bridal portraits where it was 100% focus on me. She helped me relax and laugh to get a genuine smile and more natural, less stiff, looking photographs. She has a perfect blend of traditional with style and modern photography. On our wedding day, she perfectly captured every moment without being intrusive and successfully adhered to the complicated rules of Catholic Churches still being able to get great close up photos of the most sentimental moments of the wedding. I barely knew she was at the reception and yet she and her team captured those perfect emotional "in the moment" shots that really bring to life that day again when we look at them. She provided more "favorite" photos than I could have hoped for when making our photo album. I feel she is a steal for her talent/skill at that price!

Rocelyn is an amazing photographer! I knew right away at our first meeting that she was our photographer. She made the whole process very easy, but more importantly, FUN! It was so important for us to have a photographer we were comfortable with. She was always very prompt at responding back and turn around time for pictures was fast. She has an amazing eye, and our engagement/bridal/wedding day photos came out better than we could've ever imagined.

We found Rocelyn and couldn't be happier with the entire experience with Ara Photography! We had a lot of scheduling limitations that Rocelyn worked with and made each appointment happen no matter what nature tried to throw at us! It rained, heavily the day of our engagement session and it was the only day we could get together my husbands kids and we were limited in the places we could go due to the rain. She was super flexible and made it happen. The storm cleared and we had a beautiful session! We even got to go back to the house and get the pictures of our furry family members that we wanted to include in the engagement pictures. Working with 3 dogs that don't like to sit still is an an accomplishment in itself, the ability to get the perfect picture of them looking at the camera was amazing!

My bridal shoot was so much fun! I had no idea what to expect and it turned out wonderful. I loved the opportunity to do a run through and see what my hair, makeup and dress would look like and the photos were really creative and so much fun!

The day of our wedding i can honestly say that either Rocelyn or Alex was there to take a picture every time i turned around. Everyone i wanted to get pictures with were included and even some of the extra little things I wanted to do Rocelyn found a way to get them all in.

I was able to see a sneak peak of a few of the wedding photos on her site this week and they are awesome! I cant wait for the rest to be done!

Rocelyn has an incredible eye for and the details she includes are amazing. She knew exactly what photos to take and was so much fun to work with!

Anyone that can book Ara Photography should rush at the chance, they are awesome and I would recommend them to anyone and definitely use them again myself!

Very professional i am pleased with all of my pictures GREAT JOB!

Rocelyn was amazing!!! Her prices were competitive and she was very flexible with me and my hubby. The wedding alone was stressful so I love that she was there as a professional and kept me calm! She is amazing and we absolutely LOVE our pictures. She captured everything with perfection!
