We love natural light. We love using flash. We love overcast and darkness too. Light is our friend regardless of its quality.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
When a couple hires our studio they hire Amy Deputy Photography, they hire Amy and her assistant photographer, David Bick.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We commission one wedding a day and rarely two weddings in a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Absolutely. We are aligned with the top wedding photographers in the country This amazing network of talent is a phenomenal support resource.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We bring DSLR camera bodies, an assortment of lenses, lighting doo dahs and high energy bars.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We commission weddings based on hours of coverage needed by the couple, starting at 6 hours of coverage.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Overtime is billed in 30 minute increments at $250. This fee covers both photographers.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel within the Baltimore metro area is included. Regional, national and worldwide travel rates are provided by custom quote to include lodging, airfare, accomodations and car rental.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We host images online for view about two weeks after the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We offer image magazines, 4x6 prints and online hosting.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Forever and ever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Couples receive a permission letter with their high resolution files that grants rights to make unlimited prints.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes.
Couples receive their high resolution files on their first anniversary or they may purchase them for immediate delivery with their proofs.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We love our albums. Love. Love. Love. We offer flush mounted books and classic matted books. All our design and Photoshop production is handled by my team of two here at the studio. Our designs are clean and the prints, well, gosh, they are gorgeous.
When will the client get the final album?
As soon as the couple's preliminary album edit is received, we start the design. Our prototype is sent within 10 days for couple's review. When we receive the thumbs up! the book is placed into production.
