Welcome, I am a professional travel agent who specializes in many areas and provides travel world-wide through other modes on transportation. First and foremost I specialize in honeymoons and destination weddings. I also specialize in top honeymoon areas, like Hawaii and Mexico and  to go on cruises. Many of my clients have chosen romantic Caribbean destinations and all-inclusive resorts. I have connections with many travel providers and their wedding coordinators that will take away stress and time from you. They will give you several choices and even a free wedding that is often recognized as legally binding in the U.S. If not, a very inexpensive ceremony can be done in the U.S. and the action take place on a tropical beach, standing barefoot as water caresses over your feet and you wear shorts. Or a gazebo can be placed, with palm trees, etc. in place for a romantic scene with formal wedding attire if desired. People can even get married aboard a ship, before guests disembark or go along, but to a different destination, while the couple enjoys the week alone. Even children can be involved for second honeymooners.

* Do I provide world-wide travel arrangements? - YES
* You specialize in cruises. How about land trips or land tours? "I do", which is what you should say at the right moment. :)
* Is there an advantage to using a travel agent with all the internet sites out there today? Definitely! I will not hide port fees, room charges, gov’t  
    taxes, etc. I will get specials that the average supplier does not let people know about. I know the questions to ask to get you additional 
    discounts. (for example: Spas or group rates. They may state the prices on their websites, but providers sometimes make arrangements for 
    additional discounts that you won’t find out about on their websites. Many other benefits. For added value (see www.ricknewmanvacations.com)   
* Does being a specialist in many areas actually help your clients? - While I cannot promise it will work out that way every time, the answer is usually
    YES. I’ve had clients booked that received free upgrades and special treatments. Oftentimes the hotel/resort or cruiseline will be the one that does 
    give you the benefits. The provider usually cannot guaranteed these special things.

* Save time, money and incur less stress by using an experienced travel agent that DOES NOT have hidden fees. Beware of internet deals that sound too good to be true. They usually are and usually have hidden fees. You don’t want to be somewhere on you honeymoon and get surprised by several hidden costs.
* Get documentation in writing that shows what you’ve paid for and take a copy along in case the resort or cruiseline causes you a conflict. When you show them that paperwork, they will have no qualms about it, b/c it was the provider who set it up and you have proof. I am always willing to help once you get there, however, a word of caution: unless you have international calling on your phone, costs can be extremely expensive in places. The first choice would be to ask the resort or cruiseline customer service desk that is providing you accomodations. They will often help you out with little effort. Secondly, most places have access to email and you can email me and I will get it straightened out as soon as possible. I will ’go to bat’ for you. (so to say)
* Seriously consider travel protection on a resort or cruise vacation. See www.ricknewmanvacations.com and read the page ’the benefits of having travel protection.’   I’ve heard way too many sad stories on how people either lost their investment because of not making it on time, flight delays, emergencies, etc.Too many people think it’s nothing but luggage protection or death ins., but it is so much more! Don’t take it,  and if the unexpected happens you can kiss that investment goodbye and have a disappointing vacation. Some people push the envelope just once too many times before realizing it, vowing to never go without it trip protection again. All my contacts are on both travel websites.
* Another development reason to get airline trip insurance as well is the growing number of airlines that are going bankrupt. If this happens after your cancellation date of a resort or cruise, you are left out in the cold with a lost investment. Having said that, be certain you read what the travel policies cover. Some do cover things such as bankruptcy, some don't, and some do within a matter of time limits. Be sure you know what you are paying for and the best way to do this is to ask a professional travel agent on top of things that will direct you to look into this extremely important issue nowadays, with the economy the way it is.
