We booked a European River Cruise through Charmaine at Haute Global Travel. Charmaine encouraged us to take insurance and we followed her advice. Unfortunately, several serious medical issues during and after the pandemic, precluded us from taking this trip. The cruise line’s staff did not give us the correct information with respect to our options when the trip had to be cancelled. Charmaine was very sympathetic with our situation and worked her connections tirelessly, including pushing the matter to more senior levels to get us a full monetary refund.
Facing the possibility of losing a significant amount of money, while dealing with a family health crisis was very stressful. However, Charmaine kept us informed of all of her efforts on our behalf, which allowed us to just focus on our family’s health issue. We are so thankful we had Charmaine on our side. We have had friends who worked through other travel agencies or directly with the cruise lines and they lost lots of money due to these unfortunate health events and cancellations. Where to start? When my husband and I decided to branch out and have a destination wedding it was difficult even wrapping our brains around. We have never even left the country, so we knew we would need quite a bit of help. Enter Charmaine! Charmaine is absolutely incredible from the start to even after our Mexico destination wedding. Charmaine and her travel company were so amazing in helping us coordinate our destination wedding in Dominican Republic!! We honestly don’t know how we could have planned the wedding without her.
