ZAZZLE for Custom Postage?

It's-A-Love-Story, on October 6, 2015 at 10:52 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 17

Has anyone used Zazzle?? Would you recommend?

I know it seems unnecessary. But since we are doing postcards for our SAVE THE DATES I thought a cute custom stamp with our photo on it would be cute. Zazzle seems to be cheaper than Wedding Paper Divas.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't spend the money, but then I wouldn't even spend the money on STD's......

I've used it for our save the dates, son's birthday invitations, return address labels and address labels. I've never had a problem with them, everything looked great! Their prices are great but there's usually groupons for their stuff too. You really can't go wrong with them. If something doesn't look right they'll allow you to fix it before printing. I love zazzle!

I can't attest for their custom stamps, but I can say I just spent close to 48 hours with them over the phone customizing a seating chart, and I was wowed at their customer service. Patient, understanding, they walked me through every step of the way. And they are having a great 30% off sale right now.

I did the same thing. Used postcards for the STD and custom postage from Zazzle for the stamps. I think they turned out great and I thought they were really cute HOWEVER...hardly anybody noticed the stamps. Honestly, if you're tight on budget then I'd skip the custom stamps. I had to point it out to so many people. I'd talk to them and they'd say how they loved the STDs and I'd ask about the stamp and 9 times out of 10 they didn't even look at the stamp.

I used zazzle to get custom stickers to seal the inner envelope for the invites, and I was super disappointed with how it turned out as well as the experience. The customer service was terrible, said it would take four to seven days, ended up taking over two weeks. I can't say much about stamps, but my experience was very lacking.

I used Zazzle for our custom Save the Date stamps and used their matching address labels as well. I loved the way they came out and thought it was worth it! Make sure you take a look at the sales they have going on, there is always something you can use!

I had my entire suite picked out from Zazzle, but then fell in love with STDs and invitations from Minted. Yes, they are MUCH more expensive, but I love the ability to have them print recipient addresses as well as return addresses. Once I decided on alternative invites, etc, it didn't seem so important to have the custom postage. The white roses from the USPS are elegant and classy AND you don't pay any extra for them. For the invites that will most assuredly require additional postage, they have a white wedding cake. I may still get the custom postage for Thank you notes, but no longer feel the need to have them on our STDs and invitations.

I bought special Batman stamps for our wedding invites because I love batman. But, they were the same price as the other stamps.

I am with @Celia on this. I would not spend the money on custom postage, & I didn't to STD's either. Save the money for other areas.

In theory, it is a cute idea... I thought about it. Then I realized that I'd be paying over $1.00 a piece for a 0.49 stamp. What a waste. And if postage goes up, you are screwed because it's not a Forever Stamp. I know post cards have cheaper postage so maybe if you bought custom stamps, it would even itself out costwise... like you bought regular STDs with regular stamps.

I looked at doing this very thing, but decided it wasn't worth it to me. I'll put that money elsewhere in my TIGHT budget. Here's hoping for a lot of NO rsvp's! Not really. But sort of. But not really.

I use Zazzle excessively. For wedding purposes, we used Zazzle for our STDs, thank yous, rehearsal invites, and stickers we put on our favors.

I thought custom postage was a waste of money. I don't know if I have EVER paid attention to a stamp on any kind of invite or thank you I've gotten. I'm more concerned with whats inside the envelope.

I looked into some of the custom non photo ones just because they were cute, but I couldn't justify spending that much on stamps.

I purchased custom postage thru Zazzle to match the artwork on my invite and my guests noticed. It will bump your budget up a bit, but I had a small guest list, so it was worth it to us to splurge on the little details. The postage order turned out just perfect although be aware when addressing your envelopes that custom page is bigger than regular USPS stamps so make sure that you have enough room to address your envelopes.

It's not worth the expense to me. I did recently receive an invitation with a custom stamp though, and I definitely noticed it and thought it was a cute detail.

No custom stamps here - wasn't worth the money to us. We used wedding cake stamps from the USPS because our invites needed extra postage and that worked perfectly. We did use Zazzle for programs and I am thrilled with how they came out. They had a 30% of sale at the time and from order to delivery it only took 4 days.
