February 9, 2017, he proposed at our first date spot (botanical gardens), on the day that we had our first date. It was like reliving our first date again, because it happened almost the same way except it wasn't snowing and cold.
Our first date was February 9, 2013 at the zoo and botanical gardens, it was rainy, cold , windy and then began to snow. I didn't bring a huge jacket so he gave me his Letterman jacket from his high school days. It was fun and then we rode the train to the botanical gardens where a small little girl wanted to sit next to the "pretty lady". I was the only other "lady" on the train so she meant me and sat next to me.
Fast forward to February 9, 2017, it wasn't cold, snowy, or rainy. But it was windy and he was still just as nervous as he was then. And instead of a little girl that wanted to sit next to me on the train a little boy wanted to. It's kind of funny when life comes around full circle. Officially today we have been engaged 559 days.
17 months March 2, 2017 he proposed on a beach in the rain a year and 2 months after we had started dating because I told him no proposing within a year and he didn’t get back from Alaska until February which is when he got the ring.
Unofficially, we decided to plan a wedding for 2019 in mid March, so 5 months ago. Officially, he hasn't actually proposed as he says he wants to do. I told him it wasn't necessary but he insists he wants to and that he wants it to be a surprise so I have no clue when it will happen. Could be next week, could be months from now. None the less, he wants us to start planning and paying for a 2019 (probably August at this point) wedding. He's such a dork lol.

1 month and 1 week ago I wish i could go back to that day, or go back to last week. We took like a mini-engagement-moon vacation, it was so fun to travel as an engaged couple!
