I'm starting to write our thank you cards tonight. I wanted to know if my message to my MOH/ SIL sounds ok.

Olivia, we are not very close but we're civil. My husband and I agreed on only having family to be in our wedding party. My sisters were my bridesmaids- I didn't want to choose one over the other. I picked my SIL to be my MOH because she's an amazing sister to my husband and always has been a source of support for us both. She didn't throw me a bridal shower and wasn't involved in the planning. I didn't want to hassle her due to her being ill.
