@Hayley: I knew it was a risk before I placed the order. They didn't want to send them because they have been getting complaints about this problem. But I wouldn't listen so told them to send me a test shipment so I could see for myself. I was really holding out hope that it would work out.

Already doing a full open bar and a ton of savory foods as this will be a full cocktail style party the next day:

I do not have any dessert so wanted to do something casual and fun and I know everyone loves Krispy Kremes. I figure donuts are more drunk type food that you can grab and go with coffee than something more fancy. I had debated cupcakes and canolis before but neither seemed to fit for this.

GAH! Bummer :o(

Okay... what about this idea - small coffee garnished with a small sugar donut? Or (my personal favorite) milk martini garnished with a chocolate cookie?

I went to a wedding where the midnight snack was White Castle sliders on silver platters I know, kinda odd, but everyone seemed to LOVE it.

Hmmmm since we're both nearby, I wonder if we went to the same wedding!! lol

I'm also doing a sliders station at the reception. They will be made by the hotel though. I love the idea of anything in minature. I even got them to throw in mini hotdogs and mini glasses of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate milkshaes plus regular and sweet potato fries.
