Would you wear a watch as a part of your wedding day ensemble?

MrsLewis2B, on August 25, 2014 at 10:34 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

FH and I collect watches- he purchased one for me after I had our son, so it does have a special meaning to me.

I do think it looks like a wedding accessory as it has a mother of pearl face, and is stainless steel. Just unsure. Would you wear a watch?

Yes, I am. My something old is my grandma's gold watch. It's very small and delicate.

Wear it if it means something to you, but I won't be wearing a watch. I don't think it's "dressy" enough to wear with my dress.

Wear it! There is so much meaning behind that story. And if it looks like a wedding accessory, then there is no reason why you shouldn't wear it Smiley smile

I think my only issue with it is that I'm not sure it's dainty enough- but then again I'm not exactly a dainty kind of person. I'll be sure to wear it to my next fitting to see how it looks and feels.

I hadn't even thought about this but I have my grandmothers watch I could wear.

I'm not wearing a watch, but if I decided too, my step-mom made me one of these (she's big into jewelry making) and I was seriously considering it at one point.

If it has special meaning to you, I say go for it!

Based off the picture you shared I think it will look great! Also... consider only wearing it for a portion of the wedding so you get photos with & without it (just have a secure place for it when you are not wearing it).

I'm going to be wearing a pearl bracelet to match my pearl necklace and earrings. A watch wouldn't work for my dress, but wear it if it works with your outfit! Smiley smile

I agree with you ladies, if it is special to you both, then go for it. I do wear watches, but I wouldn't wear one for my wedding just because I want to feel like time has stopped. I want to be caught in moments and just laugh, cry, and have a good time.

    Hi Erin,

I am totally agreed with you. There are some beautiful ones out there and if I normally wore a watch, I would have worn one of those beautiful ones that looks more like a bracelet and for this you can choose some good watch dealers like https://www.unikluxury.com/ that can assure the quality and can suit your wedding outfit.
