Hi there! My FH has two really close girl friends that he wants to be in our wedding. Originally I told him I would just have them in my bridal party, but afterwards I decided to just have them in his grooms party. I don't know them that well (we have lived out of state from his friends) so I felt kinda weird about having them in my bridal party, plus I would have too big (for my taste) of a bridal party with them plus the girls I'll be asking. Having girls in the grooms party doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure what they should wear? Has anyone had girls in their grooms party and what did you do? Do they wear a black dress to match the tux/suits and a corsage that matches the boutonnieres? Or did they match the bridal party? Thanks everyone Smiley laugh

I had my brothers on my side, and DH had his sisters as well as his son and male cousin on his side. The guys on both sides all had matching tuxedos. The girls had dresses in the same color as the guys' ties. This way it all looked cohesive.

At a friend's wedding, he had a Best Woman, and rather than match the bridesmaids, she wore a black dress to match the guys' tuxedos. So either option should work just fine.

I am having a Man of Honor and FH is having a groomslady. Our whole wedding party is wearing gray. The men in gray suits and women in gray dresses. The brides side will have accents of navy blue and the grooms side will have accents of green. Something similar could be an option.

Its completely open. Ive seen them wear black or gray like the groomsmen. Ive seen where they wear tailored tuxes. Ive seen where they wear the same color as the BM or a different color. For example if your colors are red & blue. Your BMs could wear blue and the groomswomen red.

FH will have a Best Lady instead of a best man. We're letting her choose between matching the bridesmaids, wearing a black dress (to coordinate with the tuxedos), or wearing a black suit/tux.

ETA: We're not doing bouts, so I'm leaving it up to her whether she wants a bouquet or not. If she does, I'll probably makes hers a little smaller than the bridesmaids.

Our best man will be a best women. FH wanted his sister by his side so she will be in the same color as my sister who will be my MOH. I would just ask and see what they would feel more comfortable in and go from there.

Our groomswoman is wearing the same dress as the bridesmaids, but in grey to match the groomsmen.

    Whatever floats your boat.

My FH's best woman is wearing a long black dress but so are all my bridesmaids, so I clearly have no issue with black dresses!

For the flower question- she's carrying the same bouquet as my BMs.

At first thought I would say match your bridesmaids but thinking about them wearing a cute black maybe tea length dress to match tuxes I think is super cute. Use your preference but I'm liking the black dress idea.

FH has a groomswoman, and we’re planning on having her wear the same dress as the bridesmaids but in black. She’ll also have a corsage instead of a bouquet.

Our groomsmaid is wearing a dress to match the groomsmen colors (tan) and my man of honor is probably going to wear blue pants to match the bridesmaids

Depending on their style, if they're feminine or not, they could wear s dress to match the girls or whatever the guys are wearing. I've seen it either way! He should ask them what they're comfortable with.

We have one. Her dress will be grey like the guys suits with the same parameters as the bridesmaids have. Chiffon and knee length.

We fit men and women often for bridal parties. The women typically will wear either a dress within the color spectrum of the wedding, or we have a few friends wear a suit. Keep in mind, that rental suits are not made for women so the fit may need to be adjusted. There are also women's tuxedos gaining traction in the industry as well. This is you and your fiance's special day, make it a stamp of your style! The most important thing is you are married at the end of the day, and the one's you love were present to celebrate! Congratulations

Depends on what your main wedding colors are. Most people have two main colors, right? MFW and I both have male and female friends in our parties and our plan is to have her side in one color and mine in the other. I kind of like the way it looks when I've seen it! Good luck!

He's got a really good friend from college who's in his wedding party. She's wearing a black dress of her choice. The groomsmen are wearing black suits no tie.

My best friend from high school happens to be a guy and he's in my wedding party he's wearing a black suit with a pink tie to match the bridesmaids dresses

A 'grooms woman' came into my job the other day and just chose a dress the same color at the wedding.

My male best friend is my man of honor. My fiancé's female friend a groomswoman in his party. The groomsmen are wearing grey, so she'll be in the same dress as my bridesmaids but in grey instead of my color.

I have seen the girl wear the same dress as the bridesmaids but in the color of the groomsmen suits. I believe all the girls got the same dresses at David's bridal and she just ordered hers in black.
