Hi there! My FH has two really close girl friends that he wants to be in our wedding. Originally I told him I would just have them in my bridal party, but afterwards I decided to just have them in his grooms party. I don't know them that well (we have lived out of state from his friends) so I felt kinda weird about having them in my bridal party, plus I would have too big (for my taste) of a bridal party with them plus the girls I'll be asking. Having girls in the grooms party doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure what they should wear? Has anyone had girls in their grooms party and what did you do? Do they wear a black dress to match the tux/suits and a corsage that matches the boutonnieres? Or did they match the bridal party? Thanks everyone Smiley laugh

I think they should match the tuxes.

My husband had a "groomswoman" and we just had her match the bridesmaids (although each girl was wearing a different dress anyways). I also had a guy on my side and he matched the groomsmen. It didn't really matter to us to define who was on which side.

Our groomswomen are wearing black one piece romper things. I am not sure what they are called but they picked them out and they look great! They will be wearing turquoise belts and accessories, along with boutonnieres so they are matching the groomsmen.

My MOH is getting married and has 4 girls and 2 guys standing up with her. Her FH has 2 guys and 2 girls standing up with him. Their colors are red and gold, and my suggestion (which they took) was that her people wear red and his wear gold. That is, her BMs are wearing red dresses and her guys are wearing red ties (and vests?). His girls are wearing gold dresses and his guys are wearing gold ties. I think it will look amazing.

I like the idea of a dress matching the groomsman. I would add a sash that matches the bridesmaid's dress to incorporate the color flow of your party.

My brother asked me to stand beside him on his wedding day. I stood with the guys but was dressed like the other bridesmaids.

Any thoughts on no one accommodating to the girl in the grooms party and making her wear a men’s suit? This is my situation right now....
