Wishing Tree after the wedding

Hey there!
The fiancé is really into the idea of doing a wishing tree instead of a guestbook. I think it’s a fun idea, but I’m a little at a loss with what to do with all these “leaves” after the wedding. I had originally wanted to create a guestbook alternative that could be displayed (e.,g, a personalized poster or something). If we do the wishing tree instead, the only thing I can think of doing is getting a poster made with a tree illustration and attaching the leaves to it.

If anyone has any creative ideas of what we can do with these leaves after the wedding is over, I’d love to hear them!

Hey Amanda!!
I love this idea! Maybe you could do a shadow box with the leaves from the tree! You could get a larger one (depending on how many leaves you have to display) and then maybe you could pin a few mementos from your wedding in the shadow box too - like programs or your something blue/borrowed/old, photos, preserved flowers, cake cutter etc.

I think the shadow box would be a good idea as well... or maybe getting some branches or a little fake lighted tree and putting them on there?

My friend did one of those things where everyone signs a piece of a puzzle and then she just framed it. I am doing a canvas where it has an image of a tree with branches people thumb print on it as the leaves. I too wanted something we could display and really make part of our everyday.
