Will you be my ___ gifts

I didn’t do one I wish I did! But I saw these cute hair ties that said “will you help me tie the knot?”

We got all of ours off of Etsy. There are so many cute ideas, just type in bridesmaid/groomsman gifts. For my maid of honor I put a box together that included earrings, a face mask, and a wedding cake scented candle that said Jayme will you be my Maid of Honor. For our groomsman we did custom shot glasses with names and title, a mini bottle of whiskey, and a little saying; “wanna take a shot at being my groomsman?”

We sent cards to the groomsmen. The bridesmaids each got a card (unique to each person), wine tumbler, notebook, pen, personalized makeup bag, fabric hair ties, and candy. The junior bridesmaid got a fabric headband instead of the wine tumbler. I had also ordered monogrammed compact mirrors, but they didn’t arrive in time. Those will be part of their thank you gifts instead.
I likely wouldn’t have given so many things if I had been able to ask them to be bridesmaids in person. Since it was during the stay at home order, I really wanted to surprise them.

I did but got different things for everybody because I couldn't see all my girls in far off cities. So for two of them I got delivery cookies (one of them had done the same for me on Valentines Day when I was single back in the day 😂), one delivery flowers because she'd appreciate that, my friend in the same city as me I got her a pretty hair tie from a boutique we shop at together, and the last girl I gave a special Italian drink (Bellini) because she likes fun drinks. I preferred to give individual gifts so they're more about the person. 😊

Oh and my fiancé gave individual gifts to my brothers for being groomsmen also. Cigars for older one, a key chain and bracelet for the single one. He hasn't asked his other guys yet.

For my bridesmaids I did a wine glass that says bride tribe, a candle, their favorite candy, their favorite alcohol and a ring pop. There was also a card with a cute poem asking if they would be my bridesmaid/MOH

For my bridesmaids, I bought custom heart-shaped puzzles on Etsy that said, "Will you be my bridesmaid?". For the groomsmen, my fiance found funny cards that asked them to be groomsmen and he sent them those.

I ordered this to put together for my bridesmaid proposals, I'm just waiting for it to come in the mail. I can't wait to put it together and give it to the girls. I'm so bad at keeping secrets especially when I'm so excited about it, so not telling them is killing me lol. I tried to get my fiance to do something for groomsmen but he wasn't really having it, he just called them.

So I just bought the stuff to do mine! I am doing cookies and a little bottle of wine with a card. The cookies will have their name on it and also the wedding date and I got those from Etsy. And then I got these cute white boxes and wine bottle labels from Amazon. The labels have Will You Be My Bridesmaid? on them.

I think it's super cute for anyone that does those and I have no beef toward it, but it just seemed like an unnecessary added expense to me. I just called each girl individually and asked them to be a bridesmaide. 😊 I'm sure whatever you decide will be well received!

For my bridesmaids, I did tumblers etched with their names (versus vinyl that would wash off), a box of chocolates, and a card that I wrote a personalized note on!
