Who's going dress shopping with you?

I went to two shops. My first round I brought my 2 MOHs, my sister, my mom, and my mentor. The second time was my mom, sister, and god-mother. I found my dress the second time.

My mom and my MOH, my sister. Keeping it small, my sister is brutally honest and my mom will love everything so 2 very different perspectives.

Mostly my family

For most of my dress shopping I only brought along my mother and my maid of honor. I like having some input, but I knew that the more I brought along, the more they would try to influence my away from what my vision was. Luckily my mom liked me in about anything I wanted, and my maid of honor is very reasonable and knows my style. Not until after I picked out my dress did I bring along a few other family members and friends in my bridal party.

When I took someone it was my mom only with me. I have two dresses and one I chose with her and the other I was by myself.

I had my mom, my fiances mom & sister, and my bridesmaids.

My best friend and I live across the country from one another and meet up once a year so I went with her to see what kind of style I wanted. Then I went with only my step-mom to find THE dress I wanted and then I am bringing my grandmas, aunt, and future mother in law to the "reveal" when it comes in.

Probably won't be going dress shopping

I've already chosen my dress but my two cousins (Matron of Honor and Maid of Honor) wanted to do the whole "Say YES to the Dress" so I went along with them just in case I found something that I loved more.

My mom went with me to two stores at home and three or four stores where I am now. I bought my dress on my own though and FaceTime'd her. Had dress review in April and first dress alterations today. She was there with me via FaceTime. Yay for technology
