Who takes care of Mu/hair tips for a group?

Every wedding I've been a part of that hair/mu was optional, I paid the stylist/artist myself and tipped my portion.

If it’s not required then each person should pay for their service and tip.

That's nice you want to coordinate or even pay tip, but honestly you're better off not taking on optional matters. Timing 9 ladies is a lot. Let the professionals set up their own timeline, costs, and payments since you're not making any of that mandatory. It would be nice if you set up a space, but really it's going to spiral into hosting a pre-party with breakfast and lunch for 11-12 ppl, and too many individuals in your space. Good luck.

Because the ladies have chosen to use the artists, I would send each one a copy of the contract and state, “the deposit to secure your makeup has been paid. The balance and any gratuity will be due by each individual the day of the wedding. The artist accepts cash or credit card. After X date, the service cannot be canceled and payment in full will still be required by that individual the day of.”

I would not, in any way, pay up front and in full if this is a service the ladies have chosen to utilize on their own. It is their responsibility to pay and tip.

I would not pay for the services, especially in advance. I'd have each girl take care of her own bill so you don't get stuck paying for anyone.
