Who isn’t doing a wedding band with their ring?

My ring was custom made by my fiancé. We went and tried wedding bands on that didn’t match since it’s the in thing and we just didn’t love any plus they fit weird were the center diamond stone fits in my finger and isn’t raised off the band much at all. We could obviously do a custom band to match that would fit perfectly but I’m unsure with round and baguettes what I would want it too look like.

I love my ring and might simply go without a band so who is going without a band after they get married? Make me feel better

Your ring is beautiful! I don’t have a traditional band. I just have an enhancer for mine and I love it

I would get a ring enhancer or custom band. My center stone is not raised and I have side stones flanking it, so I just ordered a simple curved band from the same jeweler that was designed to fit with my ring. Before doing that I tried on various enhancers at some jewelry stores and was surprised how well some of them looked and fit with my ring despite not being designed for it.

I love the ring my fiancé gave me. I’m not getting a band or an enhancer.

That’s gorgeous. I don’t wear my engagement ring. So I only wear my wedding band

That's absolutely stunning! My ring was a bit weird fitting with bands as well so I just tried on different wedding enhancers and found one that fit. Couldn't be happier. I'm not sure of anyone personally or heard of anyone who only has their engagement ring but I don't see there being an actual rule about it. Do what you feel!

My fiancé didn't get me a triditional wedding band, my wedding "set" is the engagement ring and an enhancer. I feel like its becoming increasingly more common for brides to stray away from the traditional wedding band. When I feel like my ring is too much to be wearing (e.g. at the gym, crafting, cleaning) I pop on my silicone bands.

I love your ring! So beautiful!
I have the same issue with my ring and the uniqueness of it. You could always do a wedding ring enhancer. That’s what I am going to do with mine. There was no perfect wedding ring that fit, so I’m going with an enhancer.

At the end of the day though, it’s on your finger and it’s all up to you and your decision!❤️

I think it’s perfectly okay to stick with your ring. In my case, our families like to upgrade rings quite often... so my simple engagement ring will be changed the day of the wedding.

I am. I personally want to have our rings for the ceremony so they can be blessed by our priest and guests, and also between ourselves. That’s more important to me.

I never thought of it like that. Good idea. Now that our wedding had to be rescheduled I have more time to go and look if/when stores open again! Thank you !

I also have trouble with finding a wedding band for my custom ring as well. 🙈 yours is so beautiful it’s similar to mine.

What kind of rings did you try on? Tried any simple ones? Do you want them to be matching ? Maybe if you give me some ideas maybe I can find one for you online. 🙂
Other ladies above suggested good ideas. So I won’t mention those again.

I also totally agree with some others - it's your life, do you! I feel too many people get wrapped up in tradition, if you love your ring and don't want a band, there's no reason you have to, always up to you!! Best of luck! Smiley heart

Beautiful ring. We decided to get two bands since I couldn't find a jacket. Congratulations...

I tried on all types of bands. But I’ve been in contact with the jewelry and he’s getting a band made to
Match it so we can see before purchasing!

That’s smart. Best to try on first. See if you like it and it matches the engagement ring

Maybe since you’re not sure, you can skip the wedding band for now. Then, if you find yourself missing it later, you can get one as an anniversary gift!

I’m considering not having a wedding band. I have an antique engagement ring and I think it’s so pretty on its own that I don’t want a band distracting from it. If I do get a band, I’ll probably just get a plain very thin one. It won’t break the bank but I’ll have it in case I change my mind. Overall though I’m leaning toward not having a wedding band at all!
