Who isn’t doing a wedding band with their ring?

My ring was custom made by my fiancé. We went and tried wedding bands on that didn’t match since it’s the in thing and we just didn’t love any plus they fit weird were the center diamond stone fits in my finger and isn’t raised off the band much at all. We could obviously do a custom band to match that would fit perfectly but I’m unsure with round and baguettes what I would want it too look like.

I love my ring and might simply go without a band so who is going without a band after they get married? Make me feel better

Originally I thought you had to get a wedding band with your e-ring, and kept looking for a complimentary one. I couldn’t decide, plus the stone is very sparkly by itself. FH told me I could upgrade the setting and forgo the band. I thought it was a good idea. That way the ring could stand by itself, where it would something like yours. I still stare at it’s fire and it’s been close to a year. For the ceremony, I’m just getting a stand-in band. For everyday stuff, I’m just going to wear the ring and for the gym, I wear a Enzo silicone ring.

I am not going to wear a band either. My FH brought me another ring. The one I am wearing now is beautiful but the one that I am getting is awesome. It's really how the couple decides.

I am not doing a wedding band. My engagement ring has details on the side (also custom designed by my fiance) and they would be covered by any band or enhancer. I also do not like wide rings on my hands so putting anything else on my finger would just bother me. I love my engagement ring and I'm happy just wearing that. Plus, less money to spend!

I'm not getting a wedding band! I know this is an relatively unpopular opinion (and I don't want to offend anyone who does want a wedding band), but I don't really understand why people have them in the first place. In many cases (especially yours with the intricate details and such a gorgeous setting), I think wedding bands distract from the beauty of the engagement ring. And for me personally, I love things to be symmetrical, so I *would* get 2 bands (one for each side) if I *did* decide to get a wedding band....and then it just seems like my whole finger would be covered at that point! Lol. I also like having just ONE ring to keep track of...and I also don't worry if the one ring is "centered" against the other, ya know? Like when they turn either way, and the center stone is practically between fingers. Anyway, do you!! The message between you and your fiancé (and between you and the outside world) is the same: you and your fiancé have made a commitment to each other, you have a ring representing your love and commitment, and the world knows you're off the market!
