Studies show that most colleges and universities are filled with women. As a result, the chances of a woman being the most educated person in a relationship are likely. Who is the most educated in your relationship/ marriage? Has that caused any issues? Do you think that the partnership should pay for that education or the individual who incurred the debt?

I have my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Terrorism & Homeland Security, and my FH has his high school diploma. He's made a great life for himself without pursuing higher education, and I don't remotely care that he doesn't have a college degree.

    We are both women soooooooo...

    But to answer the question

My FW has a BS and started a nonprofit with her mom, for kids at risk of being abused or neglected, and has been working on that for about 4 years or so. I'm so proud of her. She wants to go back to school and get her MS in Social Work if possible.

I tried and tried to go to college (I always wanted to teach Early Childhood PK-3) but because of chronic health issues it never worked out for me. I tried to go to culinary school to learn cake decorating/pastry arts and had to leave again because of medical issues. For the last 3 years I've attempted to go to back to college each semester and every time it's been halted by my chronic lyme/chronic pain/other issues. I love learning and it's very upsetting that people who don't have college degrees are looked down on (generally, not necessarily here) But what can ya do I guess haha.

By degrees, I have more than FH but by knowledge, he exceeds me by far.

We've both got degrees from the community college, all in Information Technology. He just has the degree in Information Technology as I do, but I also have a degree in Healthcare Informatics. I've pretty much just started out in the field whereas he has many years experience and also taught at a different community college in the subject matter.

    We'll pursue bachelors degrees later...
