Who Is The Most Educated In Your Relationship/ Marriage?

Studies show that most colleges and universities are filled with women. As a result, the chances of a woman being the most educated person in a relationship are likely. Who is the most educated in your relationship/ marriage? Has that caused any issues? Do you think that the partnership should pay for that education or the individual who incurred the debt?

For some insight, he's a content developer by day and an artist by night. He's shown in several galleries state-wide and one international. A masters would be awesome for bragging rites, teaching possibilites (though he's not interested in going back to art ed), and he would learn several new/advanced techniques. But he realized that he could accomplish those things without the masters.
So for him now, it was an ornamental 'on the same tier of my friends' interest. I told him the moment he feels differently we'll make it happen.

It sounds like you and your husband are really making a difference in the world. The definition of a power couple.

We both came out of an unhealthy relationship. Before we got engaged we talked about EVERYTHING!!! I told him we don’t have to have the best of everything, just give our best in everything we do. When it came to our financial part, the money we make becomes our money together a one unit. His $100 and my $100= our $200. (as an example). I also told him I would be happy in a cardboard box, just as long we’re together.

We're equally educated. We both went to the Art Institute and we both got our Bachelor's. His is in Graphic Design and mine in Video Production (focus on post production). We both work for the same company in our respective fields.

I have more traditional education than my FH does. I’m a Nurse and EMT. After we are married I want to go back to school and get my bachelors in nursing. Eventually I’d like to be a nurse practitioner so I’ll need my Masters or Doctorate depending on what the regulations are at that time.

Generally speaking I’m a nerd and I love studying languages in my spare time. I speak English, Spanish some Korean and Chinese. Lately I’m studying Portuguese. I also want to get a certificate in health care translation.

FH is a carpenter. He can build anything from a baby crib to a house out of wood. He isn’t a book smart kind of person (due to poor education in his birth country) but he can do math in his head way quicker than I ever could. He is self taught with a lot of things. He has a very mechanical way of looking at things and can usually tell how something works. He can fix anything around the house or the car. Spanish is his first language and he has picked up Portuguese effortlessly and he worked hard to learn English.

Do you two sometimes feel like you spend too much time together because you work for the same company?

She's happy in her job and wants to progress in it plus she has quite bad dyslexia and struggled with academic work at bachelor's and I think she feels she would struggle to much at master's

She has more education than me. She has a bachelor's degree and I never finished college. I don't pay on her student loans. She was going to school part time when we met. We pay on shared debt but don't split person debt.

Nope. Not at all. Our work spaces are in different rooms and sometimes when we really have things to get done, the only time we would see each other is during lunch. It wasn't intentional to work at the same place. I needed an internship in my field for school in order to graduate and he talked to his supervisor and she called me in for an interview. After that they kept me on.

He's full time and I'm part time so I only see him at work 3 days out of the week. I have a second job that sucks the life out of me so I'm hardly ever home to begin with. The company we work together is closed on weekends so I usually get to see him more then.

I literally have no days off and sometimes I work a double shift. During the week he'll already be gone in the morning and I leave for work before he gets home. By the time I come back home from work, he's already asleep so we actually don't get to spend too much time together as it is.

Not at this time. If I did I would only do it for a specific career goal or specialized degree.
