Who is performing your ceremony?

My great friend and mentor is playing the piano for our ceremony! She was my yearbook and choir teacher in high school but we because such great friends through that and we stayed close after I graduated. I'm so honored she agreed to play!

Ooh, yeah, that would be tough for your friend. But it was a nice thought! Have you met with your officiant yet?

My husbands cousin! She was amazing! When we were talking it over we knew we wanted someone close to us and we wanted a woman. She just jumped to mind.

She wrote the ceremony, interviewed us, we trusted her so much we requested not to hear the final ceremony until we were standing at the altar. I couldn't have been happier.

One of the pastors at our church! He was a member of our couple's small group and a close, personal friend of ours. He nailed it!

We hired our officiant - and our stylist is her daughter! We got a discount for booking them together, and they talk regularly so that helps with some of the logistics juggling. Why isn't this more common?

My uncle will be our officiant! He's ordained and has done a few weddings before. I wouldn't want any other person to marry us, he was very touched when he asked him too

WE selected an Officiant from the preferred Vendor List. Turns out he actually performed the wedding ceremony at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
