Who else is afraid that your wedding will not be fun?

I'm so worried about this, which is why I met like 10 different DJs cus I feel like the DJ is one of the things that will really make or break the reception. I'm afraid that my guests will not have fun!

Have you guys have ever watched my big fat greek wedding?

That is totally my family!! I have 2 of those uncles!! Our wedding is going to be in my aunts backyard with a gazebo covering the whole area. Cutome t-shirts from bridaltees.com and bride and groom flip flops. We rented a cotton cany and snow cone maker as well as a dunk tank. We will also have a candy buffet. I don't want to be uncomfortable at my wedding and I want to have fun. So just think of some activities that will make it what you want. It's your day!! I'm going original all that way! Someone doesn't like it they can leave. It's all about me and my HUBBY 2b!! Hope this helpsSmiley smile

I actually have enlisted my two really good guy friends from college to be our "DJ's" :-) We will give them an ipod/computer with the music and let them go! They each have awesome personalities and know how to keep it within certain boundaries. I don't like djs..they (to me) are cheesy and I'm never been to a wedding where I liked one. Good luck everyone else though! :-)

Hilary: That sounds like a great time!

I second the suggestion to have guests request music if you're going to be playing some, with or without a DJ--WW has an app for that in the personal wedding website, so it makes it super easy to get the requests via email.

I agree with Cabell. I'm telling people to go to my wedding website and request songs that they like. Hopefully that way they won't complain later that they didn't like any of the music. The good thing is that me and my FW both like lots of different music, so I'm sure we can incorporate songs that our friends/family will like and not be hating it ourselves.
