I've narrowed down my search for a month-of planner to two amazing ladies who I really like and would like some advice as to which one I should pick.
Planner #1 is the owner of her planning business and seems to be very organized, dedicated, and experienced. If I pick her she won't be bringing an assistant with her on the day of the wedding, which I think will be fine because our wedding is around 60 people. She's also planned another wedding at my venue before so she knows the place pretty well.
Planner #2 has been in the business for a year and isn't as experienced but I clicked with her even more so than Planner #1. She was much more laid-back and didn't seem to be as Type A as Planner #1, which I like in a friend but I'm not sure if that is a great quality in a planner. I read that it's so important to really "click" with the planner and I felt like I was talking to a friend when I met with her. However, she mentioned that she's pregnant with her first child and is due in December. My wedding is in March 2020. She'll only be my month-of coordinator but I have huge reservations about this because even though I really like her I'm worried that she may not be able to provide the same amount of time and energy as #1.
Any advice on this or similar experiences to share?
