Where on your wedding website do you put your hashtag?

Ellen, on March 30, 2018 at 8:31 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5
I’ve read a thousand different posts, blogs, and forums that say “hashtag on the website not on the invites”, but nobody saya where on the website. We have a minter website so we could make a page specifically for our hashtag or add something about it on our page with our engagement photos. Thoughts?

e plan to have a sign at the gift table with our hashtag on it day of, but people will be taking pictures while traveling, at the rehearsal dinner, and before the ceremony starts that we’d love to see!!

I'm on Zola and my hashtag is on the first page, under our main photo.

I used wedding wire for the our wedding website. I put our hashtag right after the welcome paragraph on the Welcome Page. I also have a photo album section on the wedding website and I have it there as well.

I would think you could put it anywhere on the website. People know what the # means. Having it at the wedding is the most useful because people will be reminded, or see it for the first time, and use it while posting photos. I've used a hashtag and snapchat filter for other events and once they saw the sign upon entrance they could choose to use it.

I would just put it on the introductory page. I'll also be using it when we post out engagement photos, and I'll have it on our programs (if we have them) or on some signage somewhere. At one wedding I went to it was never announced anywhere but was kinda just spread through word of mouth/social media.
