Buyer beware: those are knockoff dresses and are made in China. That said, some have had good experiences with them. Just be aware that it will not be exactly like the designer dress in the photos.

As far as fittings...you need to take your own measurements or have someone do that for you. Any alterations shop or most dry cleaners can do that for you.

OMG i love that site. theyre prices are amazing. theres no reason to spen thousands of dollars on something youll wear once, yes its a memorable day but if you can find something you look great in, why does it matter if its a knockoff?

It doesn't matter that it's a knockoff to most...but it DOES matter that it may not look like the photos they provide. It's a risk.

The other problem some people have with knockoffs is an ethical one. You have to decide whether or not you feel right taking that money away from the designer. My opinion is that there is a gray area. I think it is less bad to have knockoffs made of famous designers. They generally are not struggling artists. But if the dress has been created independently, I think it is very wrong to copy. Independent designers live off of what they make and copying their designs to have them made elsewhere is stealing. I am not accusing anyone here of that. I just want to put it out there that it's something to think about.

@Cheri: that dress is really beautiful Smiley smile
