I think our first trip was when we got back together after splitting- then we drove to FL to see some of my family for the holidays! Crazy but I am so glad we went, really helped me cement my decision to ask him back out

Our first big trip was Iceland for his birthday. It was his first time out of the country and we had a BLAST!

We are getting married in Scotland and heading to Paris for a week-ish afterwards. We'll probably do another honeymoon in winter though.

Hahaha.... I laugh bc our first "trip" was when we moved from south Texas to northern Minnesota. We had known each other 1 month exactly. Crazy but hey when you, you just know! Now a year and a half later we're engaged.

On our third date, I had mentioned I had a flight voucher to use and asked for ideas of where to go. He said, “well my cousins getting married in Jamaica if you want to come.” So after 5 months of dating, we were off to Jamaica together! It was the first time meeting a lot of his family so I was a little nervous but it was the perfect gateaway together!

We split for about five months, kept in touch and stayed friends (I actually had moved a few hours away), I was in town to see friends and asked him to dinner so I could ask him back out. We were sitting at dinner and right before I asked him, his uncle saw us and came over to talk. We laughed when they left, he wondered out loud how he was going to explain having dinner with his ex at Christmas the next week and I said something about "well what if I wasn't your ex anymore" and then I proposed skipping his family altogether and driving 12 hours to Florida with me instead five years later and we still laugh about that night.

Our first trip alone as a couple was a road trip to Canada. I will never forget it.

We went camping in cape cod! We had the best time and now it’s an annual trip

The drive was about 3 hours and we went to Toronto. Including a romantic helicopter tour over the city.

My FH and I grew up in the same (rural) area just a few towns over from each other. With dating long distance for almost 6 years a lot of traveling we did could be considered taking a trip together. However the first BIG trip we took together was up to Canada. He had gone once with his parents and was trying to recreate the trip with me. And I had never been to Canada before. The trip together so exciting traveling together ... Was HORRIBLE! We fought almost the entire time we were there, sometimes about petty stuff, mostly about where we were in our relationship and what we were wanted for our future. At the end of the trip I went home questioning our future together, and he went home and started to design my ring.
