Due to a smaller budget, we were planning on staying in Beijing for the most of our trip. However, we are might take two excursions that will take us to two other cities (Datong and Xi'an). We have been to China before for a school trip (Beijing, Huangshan, Shanghai, and Hangzhou) and loved it so much we knew we would have to go again for our honeymoon!

We are going to Great Exuma in the Bahamas.

View Quoted Comment Haha, yeah we came to this realization of “hey, let’s get married next year” which led to “let’s get married on our anniversary!” And then we started planning without a formal proposal (he was still planning to officially propose sometime before our anniversary) and then realized we were so deep in our planning that we were technically already engaged. So here we are, planning to get married in May!

Meditteranean Cruise

We are going to Disney World but will be waiting a couple months after the wedding to go because a. December is crazy in the parks, b. it will also be too cold for me to go to the water parks and c. 2 of my sisters live overseas (Japan and Iceland) and both will be coming for the wedding and I want to spend as much time with them and my niece and nephews (my Icelandic sister's kids) as possible while they are back in the US since that only happens every 3ish years.

Aruba! We've both never been.

My sister decided to go to Paris for her honeymoon. She went to Disney Park, and she told me that it was wonderful! If you are looking for a place to celebrate your honeymoon, I would definitely recommend Paris or Malaga.

I went to Disney in Paris when I was younger! It was a blast (and surprisingly very different, in a good way, from the ones in the U.S.)!
