We had planned to go to Europe for our honeymoon, but canceled that when the pandemic hit and we were forced to reschedule our wedding to November 2021. Now, with all the uncertainty surrounding the virus and travel restrictions, we are leaning towards postponing the honeymoon until our one year anniversary in 2022.
We booked a cruise to the Bahamas. We actually booked it to be a nice getaway vacation this year but of course with the pandemic happening that changed, so we paid a small fee to transfer it to next year in the hopes that we will be able to use it as our honeymoon, fingers crossed! But if we aren't able to we have been discussing of going to St. Augustine, FL for the week instead.
We want to do an Alaskan cruise for ours. Luckily, we aren’t getting married until late in 2021 and we wouldn’t be able to do our honeymoon until at least may 2022 because of Alaska’s weather, so it might still be able to happen. We haven’t booked anything yet because who knows what’s going to happen.

I was planning on going to Europe (Italy or Germany) too, but either in May (after the elopement) or in September 2021. May I’m leaning towards no, but maybe September is still in the running
Nothing set in stone yet, but we've looked at Sandal's resorts since they're all inclusive! I've also brought up the idea of going to Europe, but with the pandemic situation, we aren't going to book anything yet until we're sure we can travel out of the country. (even though our wedding is in 2022)

This was going to be my first time to Europe. Some of my best friends moved across the pond 4 years ago, and this was going to be the first time I had seen them since their move. I am SO bummed. We contemplated trying to go after the wedding in November, but there is just too much uncertainty right now. We don’t want to have to go through the process of canceling everything again, or having our friends go through the trouble of making travel plans etc. and having to cancel those again also 😭
We're planning on doing a short trip to Glacier National Park and Banff/Jasper National Parks after our wedding, as we're entitled by law to 15 days off immediately after we get married.
Then we're hoping to go to either Egypt or Thailand for a longer honeymoon in the early winter of 2022. Although from what I've seen they'll be towards the bottom of the list in terms of receiving the vaccine, so we'll just have to see what happens over the next year or two.

Last I heard it was proof of a negative test within 48 hours of landing or something. There was a list of places that are approved to do the test. I’m not leaving until august so I am hoping proof of vaccination or something also works 🤷🏼♀️
