Where are you getting your invitations?

Hey everyone! It’s about time that we order our invitations. Where are you getting yours? Just curious! I think we’re going to go with minted, but not totally sure yet. It seems a bit high in price, but their invitations are so nice!!!

I got mine from Ann’s Bridal Bargains!! They have beautiful invitations at a great price and frequent sales! I got 200 invitations that included an RSVP post card for only $147 after shipping!

I ordered mine of VistaPrint! They were simple, but went with our theme, and fancy invitations weren’t a priority for me, I wanted to spend the least possible while still having them look pretty! I figure that most people just look at them once or twice and then toss them in the bin, so I didn’t want to literally have a bunch of money tossed out!

We went with cards and pocket. I wished we just went with emailing people. We did invitations because my mother in law wanted us to do it and I could care less.

I got my template on Etsy, printed at printrunner.com, envelopes on cards and pockets, and belly bands on Etsy as well.

Ours are from Zazzle. I haven't ordered them yet but I mocked them up already and in my cart so I can just click "buy" when we're ready. They have all kinds of sales all the time and their designs are gorgeous. You can even transfer designs to other products that they offer!

I ordered mine from Shutterfly. The quality was great but we didn't pay a fortune!

Thank you! I cant wait to get them. I done most of it myself. My FH helped when I had issues figuring out placement and layout. He's a graphic designer so I definitely asked his opinion after every mock.

All of daughter's wedding stationery came from Zazzle. It was lovely, and they have sales so frequently, that she never ordered anything unless it was at least 50% off (and toward the end of the year -- Black Friday, after Christmas, etc. -- there were a couple times she got 60% off). Everything was perfect and arrived very quickly; often within the week it was ordered. As pp mentioned, you can order many different items in a coordinating pattern; daughter loved how coherent everything was (e.g., invitation suite, escort cards, signage, stickers for the favors, etc.).

We used Minted. We used a coupon that they had sent us and some credits from doing on-line invites to our engagement party. We saved a little over $60 that way.

Since this is one of those things that ends up in the trash, I am going with a simple design on vistaprint that sticks to our theme but doesn't break the bank. It should cost me about 81.50 with postage. We are not doing an RSVP card. I will either put a note on the front of the invitation to see the reverse side for details or include a little business card for information regarding the website and RSVPing. If I do the extra card, I estimate the cost to go to around $100.00, but likely under.
