Life happens, and if it matters that much - I would say something to those that matter. Let them know it is your birthday, a belated wish is better than no wish at all - even if you have to ask for it! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

@ogjaci I know , I meant like family members and friends, when I say no one remembers, I really mean no one. Not even sister and my brothers lol

Happy birthday then! I know it sucks. For those who do remember though, it speak volumes. A lot of times, people wait until later in the day to make contact, too. We've become too Facebook dependent overall, that's for sure.

I also suspect my mother reminds to call me, because she reminds me about their BD! Lol

Don't worry. I have no Facebook or any social media but I just tell myself that the ones who remember about your birthday are the ones who care about you. If no one does anything for you treat yourself to something nice. I do every year since no body does anything for me.

Happy Birthday, Susana! It really is a shame that people only remember things or do things because of social media. I still have my family members' and friends' birthdays written on my calendars to ensure I remember (and sometimes I see the name and STILL forget to say Happy Birthday on the actual day!).

ETA - Also, Happy Birthday, Spirit! There are so many September birthdays!! Mine is in September too

Haha girl me too. I haven't had a Facebook in years, so I usually make myself a cake and me and H eat the whole thing. Can't say I'm mad about that part hah!
