When to send Thank you notes

So we have had a few guests buy us some gifts off our registry when they RSVPd. I’m usually the type to send out a thank you note ASAP, but I initially wanted to send out a thank you card with a photo of us from the wedding on it which obviously can’t happen until the wedding happens.

Should I wait and send all the thank you notes after the wedding? Or should I still send the guests that have already bought us gifts a thank you note now even though it will be a bit more of a generic card than the photo ones?

You should send out thank you cards as soon as possible after receiving the gift. Maybe use an engagement photo or a different photo of you and your fiance.

Just do it ASAP. Helps cross things off your list. We bought our friends a gift and got a thank you note back before the wedding.

I was actually thinking of getting a handful with our engagement photo printed on them to send out to people who send us gifts before the wedding. So I’ll do that! Thanks!

Okay! Another poster mentioned just using one of our engagement photos to send to people who send us gifts before the wedding. So I’ll probably get a handful of those printed up!
