When should I start looking for a wedding dress

Angelina, on July 20, 2017 at 4:39 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 32

I've done a lot of planning so far but still have not gone to look at dresses. We are having a Florida beach wedding with ceremony and reception on the beach 05/05/18 I want something simple enough and not costly.

Start looking now...Some dresses can take as long as a year to come in and you'll still need time for alterations.

Ok now I'm freaking out. I was thinking of getting a beach destination dress from bhldn or online from etsy. I'm telling myself this body is not ready for a wedding dress

I just ordered my dress this week and it is expected to take 4 months to come up plus 2 months for alterations. I would definitely look to buy sooner than later.

Start looking now! It may take months just to get it delivered. Plus it may take you months to find the one you love.

BHLDN is super quick so if you are going that route there is no need to freak out! I actually have an appointment there on Sunday and I'm super excited. If you go the more traditional route though, I would start looking now! Good luck!

Go start looking now even if you want to order from a place like BHLDN. At least that way you'll have a better idea of how certain styles will look and feel on you

Hey date twin!!! I bought my dress at the end of June, like other people said most dresses take 6-8 months to come in then alternations after that. You can't get time back!

I'd definitely start looking now of you can. Some dresses take at least eight months to come in and you're getting close to that.

I said yes to the dress last week and I'm still over a year out. It leaves time for it to come in and figure any alterations out. Your entire wedding look is based on your dress, from veil to hair to accessories. Better too early than late.

Start looking now. You dont know how long it will take to find "the" dress. My wedding is 1 week after yours. I have mine, it actually just came in. Dresses can take a minimum of 6-9 months to come in. You'll also need time for alterations.
