When should I start looking for a wedding dress

Start looking now.

Wedding dresses take 8-10 months to come in. Get it asap.

Your body is ready for any damn thing you want to put on it!! Now go forth!! Find lacy things, shiny things, flowy things, OH, MY!!!

I bought my dress the second weekend in March and it is due to come in in September. Have fun and make sure you love it!

It could take up to 10 months to order a dress, depending upon what store, style, designer, etc. So start shopping now. It may take you a while just to find the right one.

I would start looking now. I have appointments set up in August and my wedding date is just a couple weeks after yours.

My FSIL is getting married 4/29/18 and she purchased her dress Sunday.

I found it helpful to start looking just to see- going to a few places with no intension of buying just to get a sense of what you like, what you don't like, and what looks good on you. For example, I went to Kleinfeld, knowing full well there is no way I could afford a dress there. But it was still helpful in the process.

I ended up going shopping this past February not knowing it takes so long to order (before I came on WW) and I ended up having to buy my dress off the rack which is fine too and it worked out for me my consultant only showed me dresses that would fit and I fell in love with one.
