When is your wedding and when did you send Save the Dates?

Our wedding was originally May 2020 and we were about to send them this month, but had to change our date last minute to February 2020. Since we already had them and didn't want them to go to waste, we sent them out at the 4 month mark. Generally they're sent 6-8 months before the wedding or up to a year in advance for a destination wedding.

We are getting married May 2020, and about to send out STDs next week!

Getting married in April and sent them this month.

My wedding is February 22, 2020. I sent my save the dates back in April by FB messenger to all of my people but FH kinda missed the memo for his people whose contact info i dont have. His family got sent their invites, which double as save the dates, this past week. I'm waiting until after Christmas (like first week in January) to send the rest of the invites so they dont get mixed up into Christmas stuff.

Secondary reasoning for sending his family theirs now is travel arrangements. I'm honestly expecting them to RSVP early or not at all since California to Texas is a bit far to travel on a whim.

Our wedding was September and we sent out Save the Dates last November. It was earlier than we originally wanted to, but then one of H's brother-in-laws (his brother-in-law's brother...is that still just brother-in-law?) got engaged. H is practically an honorary brother/son in that family so we knew there'd be a chunk of crossover in people invited so we wanted to get our date out there and known before they started looking at dates.

We sent our save the dates out 10 months early, since we had so many out of state guests!

We got married September 28th and we sent out our Save the Dates at the end of November as Christmas cards.

Were getting married on November 10. I sent out save the dates in April. Invitations in August.

My wedding is September 12, 2020. I sent Save the Dates in August 2019. My wedding is about an hour away and we have some guests who live far away/out of the country. Although most places say to wait until 6 months prior to the wedding, I sent them when I had them. I personally follow my own timeline and figure it's better to plan "too soon" than wait.

My wedding is 11/09/19, we sent Save The Dates back in March, mainly due to most of our guest being out of town (and some out of the country)

Our destination wedding is on August 1st 2020, gonna send save the dates in a couple of weeks .
