When did your parents meet your future in laws?

Our parents haven't met yet! We've been engaged since October and only have 4 months left before the wedding. I wanted them to meet months ago but his parents always have excuses. I guess at this point they'll meet at the rehearsal dinner.

FH and I have been together 5.5 yrs and we've been engaged since last summer and they've yet to meet! If worse comes to worse, the moms will meet at the shower in Sept.

Me and my H have been together for a while before he proposed.. My parents met my in-laws at my college graduation.. We all went to Jaspers for brunch and they met there for the first real time.. It was awkward at first but it turned out to be a good day..

Ha they will meet 10 days before the wedding! In laws are coming from overseas and I'm sooooo nervous!!

I'm still trying to get my mom to meet his family...

They wanted her to come up with us for Easter but she wouldn't

Hopefully my parents don't meet his for a long time. FH's parents are deceased.

My mom and stepdad met my DH parents at my DH college grad dinner his parents hosted about 5 years ago, i don't know when my dad and stepmom met them, I think it was probably at the birth of my daughter, I can't recall if they had met prior to that, and that was 2 Januarys ago

We've been together 8 years and they still haven't met. We don't get to see our parents often.

Me and df have been together for 2 years, our parents haven't met. I was going to try to arrange something but then my mom went in for surgery and now me and my dad aren't talking so we'll see if it happens before the wedding. At this rate probably not, which surprisingly I'm ok with

I met my daughters FMIL far too soon. ;-) We are from two VERY different worlds. She is from a "hard and tumble" background. I am from an upper class background. This became an issue as she decided to trash me on FB. Oy! It is not my fault that she had a rough life. This is an entirely different subject. ;-)

Anywho, I met his Mom about a year after they started dating and seven months before the wedding. Haven't had any interaction with her since the July 2010 wedding and hope never to have contact again.

Our parents met last fall, I think. Low key, casual lunch at olive garden.

They met after our first date. We were still in high school, so his mother gave us both a ride home. Lol

My parents are divorced so my inlaws met my dad after about 6 months of dating I think maybe less its been a while they get along really well and we now spend holidays as a family. my mom on the other hand has yet to meet my inlaws since shes in texas and doesn't get to visit that often on her last visit we just couldn't squeeze in time so im hoping when she visits in September that she will be able to meet thm

They met on my 21st birthday... I was drunk.

Mine haven't met yet either, FH and I have been living together for 2 years but my parents are in Cali and were in OH. But we just booked a ticket for FH Dad(FH mom passed last summer) to come with us when we visit home and check out venues O_o I'm nervous/stressed/excited to say the least

My mom met his parents 2 years ago. They get along wonderfully and we often spend time all together which helps with holidays lol. My dad has not met his parents and won't until we all get up there for the wedding.

My parents met FH's mom when she dropped him off for us to go to a high school dance.I don't think that they have met FH's dad. he is not a big part of FH's life. i guess they will meet him at the wedding.

We've been together for almost 2.5 years & our parents met in September last by pure coincidence. FH and I were out in Missouri visiting his family, and my parents were on a road trip driving Historic Route 66.

They made their plans way before we did, and it ended up that they just happened to be driving through FH's small hometown the same day we were there! We all had lunch, and spent a few hours together. It was actually fun!

We've been together 2 1/2 years, engaged 3 months, our parents met 2 weeks ago. My parents r out of town and came down for the weekend, it was great!!
