Lol... Let's just say that he's better at keeping Christmas and birthday surprises a secret than he was at keeping this is a secret. I saw the business card laying on his Dad's kitchen table last February... a week and a half later I went to take care of his two boxers and saw the paperwork with the estimate laying in about the same spot... he got better about hiding it after that. 😂
Got engaged in Paris on September 2017 just 2 days before our trip was supposed to end. Because of a hurricane back at home we got to stay for 5 extra days and celebrate in the city of love.

He was sitting by me when I saw the business card, so I asked him. He picked it up and tossed it aside saying "Oh it's nothing" 🤦🏼♀️ I didn't say anything about the paperwork until a month or so after the proposal. No I don't think so.... the one he has is a Male, and has a lot of puppy still in him, his other is a Senior female.
July 27, 2018 at Marblehead, Ohio. He handcrafted the jewelry box, the ring cushion, and wrote a creatively sweet story about the ring and about us. I love mermaids and princesses, so he made sure to incorporate those!
We got engaged at 3:45 am on April 16th (Easter), 2017 in Orlando, FL after a night of playing D&D with a coworker and his roommates. He was being our DM and running the campaign, and we fought a big monster that only one of us could hurt, and we struggled to kill it. It dropped loot, and for a fun twist, to end our first session, he and his coworker had devised a plan to give us bags of loot, which was basically tissue paper with the corners gathered up to make bags of candy. Everyone else's bags were tied with rope candy, but mine was tied with a book mark that is a pink cord with a heart charm on one end and the Japanese kanji for love. in the bag, right on top of the candy was the ring. I was super confused, because while I knew he had the ring and was one day going to propose, I didn't expect him to do it that day. So I looked at him, confused and he asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes!
