My FH found an old wooden bench and he refinished it. We are bringing it to our venue and having all of our guests sign it. Once we bring it home we will seal it and place it in front of our house. I love the idea that we will have it forever, and it won't just sit in a closet collecting dust. Smiley smile

We're using and old window pane and putting an engagement photo behind the glass then having our guests sign the frame. I wanted something I could see everyday and not just have it packed up on a shelf.

We just had one of the platters everyone signs. It's not too unusual, but it's fun to use it for Christmas cookies every year and see all of the messages. Smiley smile

We did this in our wedding colors. I like that is is personalized and we can hang it on the wall as opposed to putting it somewhere and never looking at it again.

It’s not necessarily being used as our guest book as we are also having a traditional one for guest to sign but we are doing the love letter and wine box ceremony and then we are going to keep a slit at the top of the box for guest after we lock the box. The box will be set at the sign in table where guests can sign the guest book and drop a note into our time capsule box for us. We won’t see what they wrote or we wrote to each other for 5 years but on our 5th anniversary it will be fun to see everyone’s encouraging words from the years before : )

Im an avid scrapper so i am going to put out little pieces of fancy paper and pens, and have everyone write a message and sign the paper, then fold it and put it inside a huge wine glass. I am also going to have a person standing outside the doors, and when a guest walks up to the door, Im going to have that person snap a photo of each guest or couple and after the wedding, ill put it all into a scrapbook, their note and picture and card if they bring one all on the same page, and that way itll be easier to write thank you notes. Ill also know who didnt come, and who i can delete out of my phone and facebook for bailing on the wedding, LOL. Just joking. Or not.

Jennifer what type of pen did you use for your guitar. We are doing this as well next year but our guitar will be mahogany wine color which is also one of our wedding colors (wine). We just want to make sure it will last.

Guest BookWhat's your unique guestbook? 1

We purchased this off of Etsy and plan to clean it up a little and use it as our guest book. Still have to research the best way to have people sign it (wood markers, paint pens, etc). Will likely seal it with an epoxy of sorts after so the signatures stay.

So this is mine! I am in love with butterflies due to personal trauma and growth and he is a guitar fanatic so what better way to blend this two ideas. I have a Garth Brooks quote wall sticker that will be on our wall over our bed with our wedding photo. The guitar will also hang on the wall next to our picture. I can’t wait!!!

I am going to have guests sign scrap records I got on eBay and then either arrange them into something like this or frame them, depending on how many we end up with.
