What's special about your wedding date?

The first wedding date we picked out was April 28th because it was the Sunday closest to our anniversary, May 1st (which of course fell on a week day!)

But since we have decided to get married in the church, our ceremony has to be on a Saturday thus we have April 27th. Our civil marriage was June 1st, which I told my honey it was his birthday present as his birthday is May 30th :-P

Wanted to do it in the month we started dating plus also day before my birthday.

July 29 is my grandmothers birth day. She passes in 2001 and never got to meet FH. We have been together since 2002 and have had 2 cjildren already. We are both on fixed oncome and it would have been financial suicide for us to marry up till now. We have both gone back to school and should both graduate 2022ish. We wanted to make my grandmother part of our day since she raised me and I know that she would love how FH takes care of me in my disability (I can't walk much or well due to a very bad back.) We also wanted to wait till FH done with school and has a chance to find a job in his field. We chose the first time July 29 falls on a sat after his expected graduation date.

Not necessarily, but I want a spring wedding being that it symbolizes new beginnings. I would have loved to do the first day of spring, but it’s a Friday and I’m not a fan of Friday weddings so I chose the Saturday after

No significance to the date we've chosen. We needed a date that worked around our work busy seasons, so we started by ruling out his peak season (May - September), then ruled out winter and my peak season (Nov. - February), decided October 2019 was too soon but October 2020 was too far away, then started working around his normal business trips in March and late April/early May. Ended up with basically two weekends in April 2020, and went with the one that wasn't Easter weekend.

It’ll be me and the fiancé’s 5 year anniversary!!! (we’re having a long engagement and i’m so impatient 😩)

We met 7/11 and we're getting married on that date it's proven to be lucky 😁

So November 7, 2020 is our wedding date! My fiance and I have known each other since October 2010. Started to date seriously October 2013. He asked me to marry him on November 8, 2018 his birthday. I need to finish school, so that's why so far away. November 7th because its a Saturday, and my fiance job will give him off for his birthday, he works Saturday. So to sum it up, the dates are close together.

We are getting married on 8/2/20. We started dating on 8/3/10. So it is the day before our 10 year anniversary! We will get to kick off our anniversary with our family and closest friends and I’m so excited! We will have been together a decade and 1/3 of our lives!

We set the date for 6/12/2021 because it is the day after our 3 yr anniversary...We met 6/11/2018 and have literally been inseparable ever since....for both of us it was just like something that had been missing was returned to us and we finally felt complete...unlike a lot of couples we never went through the so called honeymoon phase, we were both rebuilding our lives when we met and in the last 8 months we've built an extremely strong foundation based off of mutual respect, trust and communication....being with him makes me wonder how i ever allowed myself to settle for less...I can't wait to marry my best friend

We are getting married on our 10th anniversary. When we first met Matt said he didnt believe in marriage that it was just a piece of paper. He even told his mother he was never getting married. Two years into our relationship he said he could see us getting married one day. We got engaged this summer and we want to do something special for our 10 year anniversary we decided a wedding would be amazing with fireworks can't wait to marry my best friend.

We are getting married on our 7 year dating anniversary and our 14 years since meeting anniversary.

Our wedding date is April 13th. (Nope, were not superstitious.)

It's 6 days after my moms birthday (my mom and I are 30 years apart.)

It's 8 days before my birthday (I'll be turning 30.)

Our Elopement is going to be in Gatlinburg, TN, which was our first ever vacation together (we'd been together for 7 months, and we went in April around my moms birthday.)

Did we realize this during planning? Nope! Not until later. Just makes it hard to forgot our anniversary now, ha!

Our wedding date will be my birthday...April 24, 2021. The number 24 holds a big significance for me and my family...between multiple birthdays, milestones, etc all happening around the number 24. In addition 4/24/21 falls on a Saturday... How much more perfect can you get!?

We tried to get a date close to our anniversary now, We started dating 7/27/14 and we will be married 7/25/20

Nothing special; just the only weekend in June that didn’t conflict with a birthday, father’s day, or other family event. But, it’s special now!

We knew we wanted to have our wedding during the week to save money and my fiancé came up with 2/1/21 we liked the date as no one can forget 21 21 lol it’s 3 days after our anniversary and it’s on a Monday so it was perfect for us !
