What's special about your wedding date?

One day in like 2015 (we were still just friends at that point), we were talking about when we would like to be married. He mentioned how he wanted his military contract to be up before he got married, which is supposed to happen early in February 2020. Then I said that I would want to shoot to be married before I turned 30, which happens March 5, 2020. The 29th of February happens to be in between both those dates, it falls on a Saturday, and we thought it'd be cool to have that as an anniversary. So we agreed that if we ended up marrying each other, we would do it on February 29, 2020. Five years later, it's actually happening!

The date I want is October 19, 2019 because it's the day that would have been my late grandma's 100th birthday. Since I can't have her there in person I thought it would be a nice way to honor her. We may need to change the date for financial reasons though...

We decided on Leap Day, February 29, 2020 because that way neither of us will forget it! Haha but then we realized that is the Saturday before our 3rd dating anniversary

We got engaged over Christmas, which was very special because my grandmother was very ill and that's all she ever wanted for me. She passed about 2.5 weeks later. While I was home for her funeral, my mom found all of my grandmother's wedding possessions, she had her entire outfit, her napkin, invitation, etc... I was going through her guestbook asking my mom who was who and so forth, when I noticed the day that she got married, September 19, so since we hadn't picked a date yet, but knew we wanted August or September of 2020, I looked up the calendar on my phone, and wouldn't you know it, September 19, 2020 was a Saturday. I knew this had to be our date--It will always be special to me and always make me think of her.

11/14/2020 was the closest Saturday to our first date anniversary of 11/11/2014! Originally wanted 10/10/2020 because it's a long weekend (I'm a teacher) but it's sweet how personal the date is to us already.

We picked 8/20/20❤️

Well..... at first I chose 10/10/2020 because well.... it's awesome... and I love even numbers so it was perfect!!! But then came the issue.........I want a beach wedding and living on the East coast that meant hurricane season. So I needed to find a new date 😢 luckily just 6 months further away was another PERFECT date!! 4-3-21!!! It has odd numbers but that's easy to get over since it's so awesome!!

My sister is getting married this year in 2019, so we promised my parents this year would be about my sister. We didn’t want to wait too much longer, so we booked the first 3 day weekend for some in January. 1/18/20

We had originally set our wedding for April 4,2020 but ended up pushing it back to a fall wedding because of the dress I found and fell in love with. So we picked October 24, 2020 as that is right in the middle of both of our birthdays. His is the 12th of October and mine is November 5th.

We love fall, especially October. Definitely wanted a Saturday since most his family is coming from out of town. We wanted a date that was memorable. I'm also pretty big on numerology...so when we looked at 10/10/2020, it was a perfect fit!

Our wedding date will be on our 16 year dating anniversary March 27, 2020. It works out perfectly because not only is it off season but also on a Friday, so really helped with affordability.
Another little bit; when we found out we were pregnant with our first, we were told that they thought the date of conception was March 27. We had a due date in Jan but ended up having her exactly 9 months later on December 27.

Our Wedding Date is our 15 years anniversary... just saying. It’s time ❤️ We New it from day one Butbto busy loving each other !!! Wedding bells 🔔 here we come

We chose based on our schedules and turned out that it's also Fiance's Birthday.

We originally wanted 7/18/20 because it had all our numbers in it. Fiancés birthday 8/1 my birthday 1/27 and 20 because we started dating on 5/20 but we had concerns with our venue and that date being on a Saturday we needed a certain amount of guest minimum which we aren’t 100 percent sure we will get so we decided to move it to the Friday 7.17.20 which is still a really cool date and the only number that’s missing is the 8. The important numbers are still there. Either way it’s our wedding date so it will always be special to us and we both love the summer so it’s a win win lol!

I got pregnant with our daughter in July of 2017, we got engaged in July of 2018 so it seemed only right that we keep the July tradition and get married in July of 2020🤗

Booked the venue site on Monday...so the wedding date is official! 10-10-2020 will be the five year anniversary of our first kiss. Plus, we like the symmetry and symbolism of the numbers. 🥰

There is a significance in our date!
When we started dating back in middle school it was on July 01, 2010. When he proposed in 2016, he proposed on July 02. Within that 6 year time frame I'd always imagined our wedding day would be July 01 to go with our initial anniversary date, but we decided it was only fitting to have our wedding day on July 03 next year!

I wanted August because it’s usually has the best weather for western Washington. It was either 8/8/20 or 8/15/20 (in case my fiancé has to start school for that semester). 15 and 20 are my two favorite numbers and he thought it would be cute to get married on 8/15/20.

We are getting married on the day we met. We met March 21, 2015 and are getting married on March 21, 2020. It just so happened I wanted to get married in March and the 21st fell on a saturday in 2020

Originally our wedding date was july 4th which is actually my birthday but then we had to switch the date so we picked the 8th which is also an important date bc its our anniversary
