What's a small wedding

In my world, a small wedding is 20 people or less.

IMO, 30 and under would be considered small. We had 65 guests and I don't think I could of done more. I had enough time to see everyone and not feel rushed at all!

To me, small means just parents, siblings, and best friends. Agree with Centerpiece, that's about 20-25 people tops.

I'd say small is no more than 50. Even 50 is pushing the small limits.

30 and under!

I wanted a small wedding but ended up with 90 people. Best piece of advice, keep your guest list limited to only immediate family and a select few friends.

Small to me is less than 30. We're having about 55 guests and it feels like a great number of guests

Actually @Kristi, most of us do care. Eta: To answer OPs question, I am having 6 guests at my ceremony. I consider that small.

I guess under 30? We're barely making that cutoff and it feels pretty small.

Looks like I have a different opinion than most. I would say my arbitrary cutoffs are something like this:

Alternative/tiny wedding: 0-30 guests

Small wedding: 30-90 guests

Standard wedding: 90-160 guests

Large wedding: 160-275

Absurd: 275+
