What wedding website did you use and why?

ALY C, on May 18, 2020 at 9:04 PM Posted in Planning 2 10

I know this topic has been beaten to death on here in the past, but I know a lot of websites have changed. I'm really debating between The knot, Minted, and Zola. And there seems to be pros and cons to each. Just wondering what you all used and why?

We used AppyCouple. It had a small fee, but it really did end up looking the best in my opinion. We got a ton of compliments on our website!

I'm using Zola. Easy to use and free! My sister used AppyCouple but not crazy about paying a fee.

Using Zola. I love how if you started a registry (or multiple) on another website like Target, you can have it imported o your Zola site so your guests can look at your registry in one spot.

We used the Knot, because we found it easiest to build our website on, and also they had a customizable registry for honeymoons and other things.

We used The Knot, mostly because that's what I've seen other people use. It was easy, free, and fulfilled our needs. I didn't really shop around much. We had 2 registries (Wayfair and BBB) and then I just had the hotel, shuttle, and ceremony/reception info so I didn't really care about many frills.

We are using Appy Couple and it’s features are well worth the one time fee. You can do so much and really personalize the site to you guys. All the features are super convenient and easy to navigate for guests. There is even an app feature that your guests can use for easy access to any changes or updates and they can upload photos to it after the wedding for everyone to see Smiley smile If you love your engagement pictures and want to show them off, Appy Couple will let you do that in the best way! I tried the knot, Zola, and withjoy and none of them were as nice and they seemed kind of cheesy for my liking.

We used The Knot. It was easy to use, free, it allowed online RSVPs, and we could hook our registry to it. Super simple!

I actually used something called gettingmarried. it's a UK site. mostly because your ability to create pages and customize is far greater.
